From the moment we arrived, the hosts made us feel incredibly welcome and were always happy to chat and provide helpful information. the cottage itself was spotlessly clean and had everything we could possibly need, including a well-equipped kitchen and a comfortable bed. the peaceful environment and breathtaking views added to the overall charm of the place. We were even able to borrow a set of scales for our cooking needs, which was a fantastic touch. the hosts had also put together pre-planned day trips, saving us the hassle of planning ourselves. All in all, it was a perfect stay!
There was nothing I didn't like 😊.

We had a great time exploring the beautiful area and enjoying the lovely views and walks from the cottage. The hosts were welcoming and had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. We especially loved sitting on the patio, listening to the wildlife. The location was excellent, being fairly close to several attractions and with a great walk right from the door. It was also a bonus to have lots of information and tips provided for us.
Although the property was dog-friendly, the barking from the neighboring dogs on our arrival and each day when we returned was a bit of a nuisance. Also, the approach road made me a bit apprehensive, as I had to back up once due to limited space.

The cottage was spotlessly clean and had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The hosts were very welcoming and provided us with useful local information. We also enjoyed the peaceful and quiet surroundings, perfect for a relaxing getaway.
The Wi-Fi signal was quite weak, which was a bit inconvenient. the lack of light pollution made it difficult to navigate at night.

The cottage was cozy and well-maintained, with thoughtful touches like books and wildlife magazines. the access to outdoor space was a highlight, with a beautiful wildlife pond and plenty of bird life and mammals to observe. the location was perfect, offering a peaceful and dark sky at night. the hosts were friendly, helpful, and greeted us upon arrival.
The 10am checkout time felt a bit early, especially considering the extra cleaning and packing required for a self-service cottage. the living room upholstery was uncomfortable for some, and the small and poorly placed television made it difficult to watch movies.

We loved that it felt so remote, perfect for our days exploring the area. The dogs were well taken care of with a thoughtful doggie welcome pack. The cottage was tastefully converted and had everything we needed, even a rolling pin! The location was peaceful and the surrounding countryside was great for walks. Tregaron, just 8 miles away, had amenities and a great Chinese takeout. If you want peace and quiet, this is the place.
Would recommend this hotel.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful bolt hole in Aberystwyth. the owners were incredibly welcoming and provided us with a fantastic local guide book. the cottage itself was super clean and had modern amenities and a fully equipped kitchen. It was the perfect base for us as it felt remote and peaceful, yet only a 25-minute drive to Aberystwyth. One of the highlights was waking up to sheep walking past our bedroom window. Our dogs were also well taken care of with their very own doggie welcome pack!
We felt so at home during our stay that we have no complaints whatsoever. Everything was perfect!
